Today I decided that recent sting of hot, humid weather has fried the patience of customers, especially returns who cannot abide by stricter return policies created in the name of improving the sales scorecards.

Somehow I've gotten interested in the Vikings' Greenland settlements and The Year Without Summer [1816] so I've just had to read more and more about the Little Ice Age. Oh joy, my house is blessed with Central Air! However, knowing how the forces of the universe operate, I predict the next few summers will be neither hot nor humid enough to use it.

Due to warmer winters in this decade, the lakes and ponds have iced out in Middlemarch Mid-March in my area. This year, whether it is Global Cooling or La Niña, they will not be cleared until Income Tax Day.
